We do not collect: your name, email address, IP address, browser history, or the content of pages you visit.
When you select an area of your screen, that area is captured as an image and sent to Google Gemini (Google LLC) for text extraction. Your anonymous usage record is retained for as long as the service is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us — since records are anonymous, you will need to provide your user ID (visible in your browser's extension storage).
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our database uses row-level security. API keys are stored as encrypted environment variables and are never exposed to the client.
Copy That! is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
