TL;DR

We don't collect personal data. We don't know who you are. We store only an anonymous ID and a usage counter. Screenshots you capture are sent to Google Gemini for text extraction and are never stored by us.

Copy That! is a Chrome extension that uses AI to extract text from any area of your screen. It is operated as an independent product.

We collect the minimum necessary to run the service:

We do not collect: your name, email address, IP address, browser history, or the content of pages you visit.

When you select an area of your screen, that area is captured as an image and sent to Google Gemini (Google LLC) for text extraction. The image is transmitted securely over HTTPS and is not stored by us at any point. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and the Gemini API Terms of Service.

Your anonymous usage record is retained for as long as the service is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us — since records are anonymous, you will need to provide your user ID (visible in your browser's extension storage).
